Service terms baseline
This page is the working terms baseline for CatalogReady before formal legal review. It is meant to make the service boundaries plain and reduce avoidable misunderstandings at launch.
What the service is
CatalogReady is a done-for-you Shopify catalogue audit service. The engagement is a scoped audit of a customer-provided Shopify product CSV export, with a report package and review call.
What the service is not
- Not a Shopify app install.
- Not a subscription service.
- Not an automated fix service.
- Not a broad design, CRO, or SEO audit unless separately agreed.
Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide a suitable Shopify product export and any necessary context needed to complete the audit. If the file is incomplete, corrupted, filtered in a way that limits the work, or clearly outside scope, the job may be paused for clarification.
Turnaround
The standard five-business-day turnaround should begin only after CatalogReady has received a suitable file and any required starting information for the standard scope.
Scope and output
The standard output includes a prioritized report, supporting CSV files, and a review call. The service identifies and prioritizes issues. It does not make direct changes to the customer’s Shopify store as part of the standard offer.
No guaranteed platform outcomes
CatalogReady can identify catalogue risks and likely problem areas, but does not guarantee approval, ranking, or acceptance by Shopify, Google Merchant Center, Meta, marketplaces, AI shopping systems, or any third-party platform.
Refunds and rework
If a file is unusable, materially outside scope, or clearly different from the agreed engagement assumptions before work begins, CatalogReady may pause the job, request clarification, re-scope the work, or decline the engagement. No refund is expected after work has materially started unless CatalogReady cannot deliver the agreed audit due to internal failure.
Liability
The terms should later include a properly reviewed limitation of liability. Until formal review, avoid making broader guarantees than the service can responsibly support.

Important note
This page is a practical launch baseline, not final legal advice. It should be refined with proper legal review before or shortly after launch.
