Privacy and data handling
This page is the working privacy baseline for CatalogReady before formal legal review. The service relies on customer-provided catalogue exports, so clear handling expectations matter from day one.
What we collect
CatalogReady may collect contact details, booking details, payment-related records, and the Shopify product CSV export or related files you provide for the audit.
How we use it
We use the information you provide to communicate with you, deliver the catalogue audit service, prepare the report package, and maintain basic business and billing records.
How uploaded files are handled
- Uploaded catalogue files are used only for the audit and related service delivery.
- We do not require Shopify admin access to begin the standard audit.
- Raw CSV files and working files should only be kept as long as operationally needed.
Retention approach
Current working position: raw uploads and working files are deleted within 30 days after delivery unless an active follow-up, support matter, or other agreed reason requires temporary retention. Final delivered files and basic business records may be retained for up to 12 months for service support and record-keeping.
Third-party services
Depending on the final stack, CatalogReady may use third-party providers for email, payments, file transfer, storage, or booking. Those providers may handle information needed to support the service.
Questions or requests
For privacy or data-handling questions, contact sales@catalogready.app until a dedicated privacy address is available.
Important note
This page is a practical launch baseline, not final legal advice. It should be refined with proper legal review before or shortly after launch.
